Hi! Thank you so much for your help with that last question. I have another question from the same practice test that I'm struggling with. It's to design a filter that removes horizontal lines from a scanned piece of notebook paper without disturbing the writing on the page.?

Consider the scanned document shown on the left hand side of fig. 2. It is a section from a standard notebook page with 7 lines every 2 inches. The document was sampled at 75 pixels/inch in both the horizontal and vertical directions, resulting in a 554x554 pixel image.?
Design a filter to remove the horizontal lines from the document without affecting the writing. Hint: consider each column of the image separately; treat it as a one-dimensional signal.?
There is also some extra credit if you can implement this filter in matlab.?
